A man from Fife complained to the Press Complaints Commission through solicitors that an article headlined 'Beaten, raped and brutalised', published in Chat magazine on 13 September 2007, was inaccurate and misleading in breach of Clause 1 (Accuracy) and intruded into his family’s grief in breach of Clause 5 (Intrusion into grief or shock).

A man complained to the Press Complaints Commission that a video published on the Northwich Guardian website on 14 July headlined 'Teenagers torch moving train' and an article accompanied by images from the video published on 18 July headlined 'YOBS ON FILM' identified his fifteen-year-old son in breach of Clause 6 (Children) of the Code.

A married couple complained to the Press Complaints Commission through solicitors that a photograph of their daughter, featured in the April 2007 edition of FHM, had been published without consent and intruded into her privacy in breach of Clause 3 (Privacy) and Clause 6 (Children) of the Code of Practice.

Mrs Laura Gaddis, President of the John Ogilvie High School Parent Teacher Association, complained to the Press Complaints Commission that an article headlined 'I’ve add enough' published in the Scottish Sun on 30 March 2007 raised a breach of Clause 6 (Children) of the Code of Practice.

Mr M J Bretherick of Welshpool complained to the Press Complaints Commission that an article headlined 'Indecent child images – cop charged' published in the County Times on 1 February 2007 intruded into his private life in breach of Clause 3 (Privacy) and contained a photograph of him which had been obtained in breach of Clause 10 (Clandestine devices and subterfuge).

Mrs Gail Sheridan complained to the Press Complaints Commission, through solicitors Bannatyne Kirkwood France & Co., that an article in The Scottish Sun of 11 October 2006 headlined 'Gail’s pain' was illustrated by a photograph of her taken in a private place in breach of Clause 3 (Privacy) of the Code.

Ms Ruth Kelly MP complained to the Press Complaints Commission that an article published by the Daily Mirror on 8th January 2007 headlined 'Ruth Kelly’s child sent to private school' intruded into the private life of her child in breach of Clause 6 (Children) of the Code.

Richard Williams, Head of Legal Services for Cornwall County Council, complained to the Press Complaints Commission that the publication of an image in The Packet on 01 November 2006 to accompany an article headlined 'Sting was entrapment’ claim' intruded into the privacy of a child in breach of Clauses 3 (Privacy) and 6 (Children). The complainant also raised concerns that the publication of the image was in breach of Clause 10 (Clandestine devices and subterfuge) of the Code.

Bindman & Partners complained to the Press Complaints Commission on behalf of a fourteen-year-old boy that an article published in The Sunday Times on 24 September 2006 headlined 'The ultimate sacrifice' was intrusive in breach of Clauses 3 (Privacy), 5 (Intrusion into grief or shock) and 6 (Children) of the Code.
