Complaint:

The complainant said such a decision was not required because the pearls were recognised by the Corporation as a personal gift.

Resolution:
The matter was resolved when the newspaper apologised to the complainant for any delay in ating on tne complaint and annotated their files to make a clear record that the pearls from the Emir were recognised by the Corporation as a personal gift.
