A couple complained that an article had published intrusive material about their sons health and that they had been approached persistently by several reporters.

The newspaper apologised for naming the child and for causing the complainants any distress, clarified the circumstances of a news agencys sole approach to the family, and undertook to take a number of measures to ensure that there should be no future cause for complaint.
