The legal department of Kingston Upon Hull City Council complained about an article that told the story of a young girl in the councils care, who had been witness to and victim of serious criminal activity. The complainant contended that the article intruded into the girls privacy and, although it used a pseudonym, could have led to her identification.

The magazines editor sent a personal letter of apology, through the council, to the child.
