Mr Ian Grigg-Spall, Director of Studies and Admissions at Kent Law School, complained that the newspapers online University Guide was misleading when it used Teaching Quality Assessments (TQA) scores, which may have been up to ten years out-of-date, in order to compile university assessment tables. The complainant was concerned that the newspaper did not make clear which of the TQA scores were out-of-date.

The newspaper added a link to the Quality Assurance Agency (QAA) website, made the fact that the TQA scores were up to ten years out of date more prominent and encouraged readers to consult the QAA site for further information.
