Complainant Name:
Mr Nigel Horton

Clauses Noted: 1

Publication: The Sunday Telegraph

Mr Nigel Horton complained, through Sheila Thomas and Co. solicitors, that a rugby columnist inaccurately alleged that he had said, twenty five years ago in a England trial match of Probables v Possibles, that we can kick them, bite them, scratch them, do what you like to them because they (the Probables side) wont be able to retaliate. He made clear that he would not have said such a thing.

The complaint was resolved when the newspaper published a letter from the complainant on its Sports pages.
