Complainant Name:
Daniel Bedingfield

Clauses Noted: 3

Publication: Daily Mail

The singer Daniel Bedingfield complained through his solicitors, Sheridans, that an article (published on 31 October 2003) intruded into his privacy by detailing the whereabouts of a house he had recently purchased and publishing a photo of the property.

The newspaper acknowledged that it had erred in identifying the complainants property and offered him its sincere apologies. It appended a note to its library files and databases to ensure that a similar situation did not arise in the future.
