Complainant Name:
Sir Ken Jackson

Clauses Noted: 1

Publication: The Guardian

Sir Ken Jackson complained through Burges Salmon solicitors that an article had referred to his departure from Amicus, following a ballot rigging scandal, in a manner that implied that he had been involved in that scandal. In fact, Amicus investigated the ballot irregularities at the time and found no evidence of his involvement.

The complaint was resolved when the newspaper published a clarification.
