A woman complained that a journalist from the newspaper had contacted her about a private matter, involving a footballer with whom she has had a relationship. The reporter had subsequently attended her home and left a letter for her. The complainant did not wish to speak to the newspaper about the matter.

The complaint was resolved when the newspaper, which had not published anything about the complainant, made clear that it would not approach her again unless there was a significant change in circumstances.
