Mrs Pauline Booth complained on behalf of her son, Wallace Booth, that an article which reported on his involvement in an incident at school contained inaccuracies and intruded into his privacy.

The newspaper wrote the complainant on the suggestion of the Commission a letter apologising for any distress caused to her and her family as a result of the article. The complainant accepted this apology as a means of resolving the matter.
