Publication: Esquire

Ms Eileen Dempsey of Glasgow complained that the magazine had suggested that her son David had died having suffered acute excited delirium as a result of taking cocaine. Although this theory was postulated, it had never been confirmed and was not mentioned in the Post Mortem examination.

The complaint was resolved when the magazine amended its records to clarify the position and undertook not to use David Dempseys name again in connection with drugs.
