Complainant Name:
Clarence House, representing HRH Prince Harry

Clauses Noted: 1

Publication: Sunday Express

Clarence House, representing HRH Prince Harry, complained – with the support of the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst – that the newspaper had inaccurately reported that he was billeted in separate ‘plush living quarters’ in a detached house in the college’s grounds. It made clear that he was living in exactly the same accommodation as every other cadet in his intake: a single room in the main accommodation block.

The complaint was resolved when the newspaper, which had based its article on a confidential source, published an agreed clarification.

Report: 71
