Miss J A Growcott of Worksop complained that an article had intruded into her privacy by publishing an explicit photograph of her which was not intended to be made public.

The complaint was resolved when the newspaper printed an agreed statement which accepted that the image should not have been published and apologised to the complainant for breaching her privacy. The newspaper also wrote the complainant a private letter of apology in addition to removing the image from its archives and giving an assurance that it would not appear again.
