Publication: Front Page News Agency

Complaint:
Mr Nicky Woodward complained that his and his family’s privacy had been invaded – and that he had been harassed – by the news agency when it attempted to sell his story. The complainant was also concerned that information had been acquired through the use of subterfuge and that he had been revealed as a confidential source.

Resolution:
The complaint was resolved when the news agency – which disputed many of the complainant’s points – agreed not to pass on any of the complainant’s details to any third parties and not to contact him again. Any information relating to the complainant was destroyed.
