Mr Mark Windows

Clauses Noted: 1

Publication: The Stage

Mr Mark Windows of London complained that the wording of the article inaccurately implied that he had spoken to a source at the newspaper. Moreover, he was concerned that a reporter had contended that he had indeed spoken to the newspaper prior to publication of the article.

The complaint was resolved when the newspaper removed the article from the website, and published a letter from the complainant in which he made clear that he had not spoken to the newspaper prior to publication. The complainant emphasised that he still had concerns over the manner in which the newspaper had handled his complaint.
