A woman complained that an article on a high-profile court case had identified her as a patient receiving psychiatric treatment at Royal Edinburgh Hospital.

The complaint was resolved when the newspaper accepted that it should not have named the complainant and wrote a private letter of apology to her. It also amended its internal records and external databases to delete any reference to the complainant and her treatment.
