Complainant Name:
Charlotte Tomkinson

Clauses Noted: 1

Publication: The Sun

Complaint:

Charlotte Tomkinson of Northamptonshire complained that an article reporting on her battle with anorexia contained inaccuracies.

Resolution:

The complaint was resolved when the newspaper published the following apology:

CHARLOTTE TOMKINSON

Further to our article ‘How fashion wrecked my life’ (January 26) we would like to clarify Charlotte Tomkinson denies any link between modelling and her anorexia. Also, she was never a ‘working’ model who started starving herself at 15, nobody admired her figure at her thinnest and severe ME rather than anorexia left her bedridden. Apologies for any confusion.
