Complaint:

Mr Brian Williams of Lockerbie complained that an article on the cost of Patientline services in hospitals contained inaccuracies.

Resolution:

The complaint was resolved when the newspaper published the following correction:

“On January 21, in an article on the costs associated with the Patientline television and phone service in hospital wards, we overstated the company's prices. In fact a day's TV costs £3.50 and outgoing phone calls to landlines are 10p a minute, not £10 per day for each”.
