A man from Kilmarnock complained that an article about strike action by signal workers in Scotland was inaccurate when it stated that they earned an average salary of 48,000.

The complaint was resolved when the newspaper published a follow-up article which made clear that a Grade Six signaller in Scotland earned a basic salary of about 27,000 for a 35-hour-week.
