A man from Kilmarnock complained that an article about strike action by signal workers in Scotland was inaccurate when it stated that they earned an average salary of £48,000.

The complaint was resolved when the newspaper published a follow-up article which made clear that a Grade Six signaller in Scotland earned a basic salary of about £27,000 for a 35-hour-week.
