Publication: Sunday Mail

Mr Patrick Harrington complained that an article which focused on his estranged wife contained inaccuracies in relation to him.

The complaint was resolved when the newspaper published the following letter from the complainant in addition to linking it to the original article on its website:

In response to your article of 22 April, I would like to make clear that I separated from my wife Jacqueline Sharp two years ago and we are currently undergoing divorce proceedings. I have no knowledge of the allegations made against her by former boyfriend, Mark Stewart, and I do not possess any of his property. The interdict I raised against Mr Stewart is quite separate from any action by Ms Sharp. Finally, I am self-employed and I deny the claim that I am a "racist activist", having rejected social injustice in all its forms
