Ms Anna Chaplin of Slough Refugee Support complained that a front page article on migration to and from the United Kingdom used technically accurate but misleading figures which were not explained fully until a later two-page spread and that the newspaper had used misleading photographs to illustrate the piece.

The complaint was resolved when the newspaper noted the organisations comments and passed them onto the journalists concerned for future reference. The newspaper also marked its cuttings and databases with the complainants view in regard to the choice of illustrations used.
