A lady complained that an article about her decision to apply for a place on an outdoor survival and bushcraft course in respectful memory of her son had contained inaccuracies in breach of Clause 1 (Accuracy), and had intruded into her privacy and grief in breach of Clause 3 (Privacy) and Clause 5 (Intrusion into grief and shock). She also raised concerns under Clause 10 (Clandestine devices and subterfuge).


The complaint was resolved when the newspaper published a clarification and apology, and arranged for the complainant to attend the course.
