A man complained that two different reporters from the newspaper had contacted him, at a difficult time following the death of his father, despite the fact that the first reporter had been told clearly that he did not wish to speak. He was also concerned about the insensitive attitude of the journalists.

The complaint was resolved when the newspaper sent a private letter of apology to the complainant, and indicated that it had taken steps to ensure that such a situation would not be repeated.
