Complainant Name:
A woman

Clauses Noted: 3

Publication: The Daily Telegraph

A woman complained that the newspaper had included a personal detail about her health. Although she was not named in the article (and was not the focus of it), she believed that those who knew her would now be aware of a detail about her health that she had not openly discussed.

The complaint was resolved when the newspaper removed the relevant paragraph from the website and annotated its records to avoid any future reference to the detail.
