BBC Comedy and Entertainment complained that the newspaper inaccurately claimed that more than a third, or around 50, of the audience of Lily Allens chatshow had walked out during filming. She made clear that out of an audience of over 300, no more than 25 left during filming (and not for the reasons suggested by the newspaper).

The complaint was resolved when the newspaper removed the article from its websites, annotated its records to make clear that the figure was disputed and indicated its commitment to contact the BBC for comment when publishing negative allegations.
