Simone Simmons complained that an article inaccurately claimed that, when she gave evidence at the Diana inquest, she had flown in from the US and complained that she had jetlag.

The newspaper accepted that the point was inaccurate and removed the reference from its online article. The newspaper also published the following clarification, which resolved the matter:

"In our report "Twenty moments in life of jury who weighed the facts" (April 8) we confused two witnessesat the Princess Diana inquests.Simone Simmons did not flyin from the United States and complain of jetlag; that was another individual. We are happy to set the record straight."
