David Bryan and Lisa Chesser of Surrey complained that an article featuring an interview with their neighbour stated when new neighbours bought the housethey disputed the boundary line. The complainants said they were in dispute with their neighbour over the boundary line but said it was their neighbour who had created that dispute.

The complaint was resolved when the newspaper published the following clarification and agreed to publish the outcome of any court proceedings:

On November 11, 2007, we referred to a boundary dispute involving the pop singer Tina Charles and neighbours of her home in Surrey. We would like to make clear we had no intention of accusing either party of starting the dispute and apologise for any embarrassment caused.
