Mr Mickey Morris complained that an article on the newspapers website had inaccurately claimed that his son Lee, a paratrooper, felt safer fighting in Afghanistan than in his previous job as a male stripper.

The complaint was resolved when the newspaper removed the article from its website and acknowledged that there had been some confusion over the language used in the story. The Managing Editor also apologised to the complainant and his son for any unintentional distress caused by the article.
