Mr Richard Bury and Mr David Bury of Pershore complained that an article which detailed a neighbour dispute in which they were involved contained inaccuracies.

The complaint was resolved when the newspaper published the following letter from the complainants:

Regarding your recent article, we have never wanted to erect our own fence across the pond, only for Daniel and Suzanna Galvin to erect theirs in the right place. They completely ignored work done by surveyors who say the fence is between one and 3.5 metres out of position along 200 metres length. Its complete rubbish for the Galvins to say we throw people off our land if they come to sell raffle tickets or that we dont cut the village land hedges. We will be happy to do it if asked. Anyone walking on public rights of way over our land is welcome so long as crops and livestock are respected. We have support from a number of people in the village. The slanderous descriptions of us as gruff and anti-social are very offensive.
