Ms Lorraine Thomas, Chair of the Lowe Syndrome Trust, complained that an article was inaccurate and misleading when it claimed that TV presenter Jonathan Ross had drunk champagne at an awards ceremony as a group of women flocked to his side and hugged and kissed him. In fact, the women concerned were Trustees of the charity, as was Jonathan Ross, and they had been asked to pose for a photograph together to be posted on the Trusts website.

The complaint was resolved when the Evening Standard published an article about the charity.
