Fearne Cotton and Holly Willoughby

The television presenters Fearne Cotton and Holly Willoughby complained, through Swan Turton solicitors, about the way in which the magazine had presented an apparent interview with them. The article suggested that the magazine had itself interviewed both of them at the same time. In fact, it had bought separate interviews each had conducted with other titles and blended them together.

The complaint was resolved when the magazine published the following apology:

In our 16 February 2009 issue, we published a feature which included two interviews, one with Holly Willoughby and one with Fearne Cotton, as well as pictures of them together. It has been pointed out to us that the feature may have suggested that Holly and Fearne were interviewed by us and at the same time. We are happy to make it clear that this wasn't the case and we're sorry to Fearne and Holly if we've caused any confusion.
