The Camp for Climate Action

Clauses Noted: 1

Publication: The Daily Telegraph

Following the Press Complaints Commissions adjudication against the Evening Standard, The Camp for Climate Action complained that an article about the 2007 August camp at Heathrow had referred misleadingly to fears that protesters could be planning hoax bombs and assaults on the airports security fence.

The complaint was resolved when the newspaper attached the following clarification and a link to the Commissions ruling on the Evening Standard coverage to the online version of the article:

The Camp for Climate Action would like to point out that they had no plans to plant hoax bombs or assault the security fence.
