Complainant Name:
Prince Hussain Aga Khan

Clauses Noted: 1

Publication: Daily Mail

Complaint:

Prince Hussain Aga Khan complained, through Allen & Overy solicitors, that a diary item had wrongly claimed that he had added a spare room to his house "despite the credit crunch". The renovation had taken place between 2001 and 2002. The article also wrongly described his wife as a psychologist.

Resolution:

The complaint was resolved when the newspaper published the following apology:

My story of January 2 suggested that Prince Hussain Aga Khan had added a spare room to his house "despite the credit crunch". In fact, the renovation work took place between 2001 and 2002. Prince Hussain has also asked me to point out that his wife is also not a psychologist, as has been reported. My apologies for the errors.
