Mr Reza Esfandiari complained to the Press Complaints Commission in January 2010 that a June 2009 article was inaccurate when it stated that official figures suggested that 70% of Iranians living in Britain voted for President Ahmadinejad in the 2009 Iranian elections. This was not the case.

The complaint was resolved when the newspaper - taking into account the delay in raising the matter - deleted the sentence in question from its online report.
