Cheryl Harrison complained to the Press Complaints Commission that an article about her experience with the condition hyperemesis gravidarum was inaccurate and intruded into her privacy.

The complaint was resolved when the newspaper apologised to the complainant for the inaccuracy and the distress it had caused her, removed the article from its website, and published a follow-up article reporting on other women's experiences with the condition and promoting the formation of a support group for those affected by it.
