Councillor Alibor Choudhury of Tower Hamlets Council complained to the Press Complaints Commission that a blog post about him was inaccurate and misleading when it stated that "in 2006, he stood trial in connection with a gang attack". In fact, the complainant had appeared at a committal hearing in 2005 which did not proceed to trial after he argued that he had been subjected to an "abuse of process". In addition, the complainant said that he was not a "manager" at the Nafas Drugs Project; rather, he was its Development and Communications Officer.

The complaint was resolved when the PCC negotiated the amendment of the online article to make the position on these points clear.
