Complainant Name:
A woman

Clauses Noted: 3

Publication: The Daily Telegraph

A woman complained to the Press Complaints Commission about an article which reported that a man being questioned in regard to the murder of his fiancée had been having an affair with another woman. The complainant was concerned that - despite having no connection to the story - the newspaper had failed to pixelate her image from a photograph published with the story, showing the woman allegedly involved in the affair. The complainant said that this amounted to an intrusion into her private life.

The matter was resolved privately between the parties.
