Leanne Bingham

Clauses Noted: 1

Publication: Sevenoaks Chronicle

Leanne Bingham complained to the Press Complaints Commission the newspaper had wrongly used her photograph to illustrate an article about a different woman, who had been convicted of poisoning with intent to injure, aggrieve or annoy.

The complainant did not wish for anything further to appear in print and the complaint was resolved when the PCC negotiated the provision of a private letter from the editor acknowledging, and apologising for, the use of the incorrect photograph.
