A woman complained to the Press Complaints Commission that an online article reporting on a sexual assault contained a number of inaccuracies.

While the newspaper did not accept that the article was in breach of the Editors' Code, the matter was resolved when the PCC negotiated the removal of the piece from its website and a private letter of regret to the complainant, acknowledging her concerns about the article.
