A man complained to the Press Complaints Commission that an article remaining on the newspaper's website reported on his conviction for rape, when in fact the conviction had been quashed on appeal.

The newspaper accepted that the criminal conviction had been quashed. The complaint was resolved when the PCC negotiated the removal of the online article from the newspaper's website.
