Dr Steven Edgar complained to the Press Complaints Commission that the newspaper incorrectly claimed that a government scheme allowing GPs to rent their surgeries to the Department of Health was "secret" and "secretive". He pointed out that information about the scheme was in the public domain.

The complaint was resolved when the newspaper removed the terms "secret" and "secretive" from the online article.
