Mr Mohammed Asif on behalf of iEngage complained to the Press Complaints Commission that the newspaper had published an article which inaccurately stated that the All Party Group on Islamophobia had voted to keep iEngage as its secretariat, when in fact no such vote had taken place.

The complaint was resolved when the PCC negotiated the publication of the following correction, in conjunction with a follow-up article which clarified the position:

In the issue of 18 February we reported that a decision had been made by the All Party Parliamentary Group on Islamophobia to retain iEngage as its secretariat. We have now been informed that there was no vote specifically on this point, and the decision made was to adjourn the meeting until further enquiries about iEngage could be made.
