Mrs Elaine Lunn complained to the Press Complaints Commission that an article reporting on her son's death was inaccurate regarding the cause of death, and intruded into her family life in breach of Clause 3 (Privacy) and into her family's grief in breach of Clause 5 (Intrusion into grief or shock) of the Editors' Code.


The complaint was resolved when the PCC negotiated a private letter of apology from the editor.
