A woman complained to the Press Complaints Commission that the newspaper had published material that intruded into her private life in breach of Clause 3 (Privacy) of the Editors' Code of Practice.

The complainant sought the removal of the article from the newspaper's website; the matter was duly resolved when the newspaper offered an assurance that the article's removal from its website, which it had undertaken separately, would be permanent.
