A woman complained to the Press Complaints Commission that an article which reported on the murder of her son - a convicted criminal - contained inaccurate information and had unnecessarily identified her.

The matter was resolved when the PCC negotiated the removal of her name from the online article, a private letter of apology, and an undertaking in respect of future coverage.
