A man complained to the Press Complaints Commission that the newspaper had published allegations about aspects of his private life that were intrusive and unfounded.

The matter was resolved when the newspaper: agreed to remove the article from its website; marked internal (and shared) archives with a note of the complaint; and wrote a private letter of regret to the complainant accepting that the claims it had published were a matter of dispute.
