A man complained that the newspaper's weekend magazine had carried a photograph of his property which had been mislabelled as belonging to Sir Alan Sugar. The complainant felt this was both inaccurate and represented an intrusion into his private life.


The complaint was resolved when the newspaper published the following statement in its dedicated corrections column:

In an article on Lord Sugar in The Sunday Times Magazine on October 2 ("I'm just minding my own business") we published an aerial photograph of the wrong house in Chigwell, Essex. It does not belong to Lord Sugar. The picture was provided by a photographic agency.
