Complainant Name:
A man

Clauses Noted: 1

Publication: The Sunday Times

Complaint:

A man complained that the newspaper's weekend magazine had carried a photograph of his property which had been mislabelled as belonging to Sir Alan Sugar. The complainant felt this was both inaccurate and represented an intrusion into his private life.

Resolution:

The complaint was resolved when the newspaper published the following statement in its dedicated corrections column:

In an article on Lord Sugar in The Sunday Times Magazine on October 2 ("I'm just minding my own business") we published an aerial photograph of the wrong house in Chigwell, Essex. It does not belong to Lord Sugar. The picture was provided by a photographic agency.
