| Complainant Name: Clauses Noted: 1 Publication: Daily Mail Complaint: Christian Hunt of Carbon Brief complained to the Press Complaints Commission that the newspaper had published inaccurate information about the cost to consumers of "green taxes", in breach of Clause 1 (Accuracy) of the Editors' Code of Practice. Resolution: The complaint was resolved when the PCC negotiated the publication of the following correction: Recent editorials referring to a leaked Government memo suggested that scrapping ‘green taxes' would save households 30% -- or £300 - on their current energy bills.
