Sarfraz Khan complained to the Press Complaints Commission, via a representative, that the newspaper had published an online court report detailing his conviction for driving a bus under the influence of drugs but had failed to publish an article making clear that he has successfully appealed the decision and was acquitted of any wrongdoing.

The complaint was resolved when the newspaper updated the online article with the following statement:

Update (5 Dec 2011): On February 9 Mr Khan was found guilty of driving while unfit and was given a suspended prison sentence and ordered to undertake 100 hours' community work. However, he subsequently launched an appeal, which was allowed, and his conviction was quashed on July 29.
