Giles Jackson

Clauses Noted: 1

Publication: Scotland on Sunday

Giles Jackson complained to the Press Complaints Commission under Clause 1 (Accuracy) of the Editors' Code of Practice that the newspaper had published an online article accompanied by a photograph of an anti-capitalist protester which - in his view - readers would have mistaken for him, as it was captioned with his name.

The complaint was resolved when PCC negotiated the removal of the photograph and accompanying caption from the story.
